It is a historic building that used to be a BANK. The old vaults are still there and can be used as a backdrop for your wedding photo booth. They have this amazing staircase for your grand entrance and there is a mezzanine level if you have more guests than can fit on the main floor.

There is ample parking in the parking lot surrounding The Society Room of Hartford. It’s a tough load-in for your DJ, so we always bring an assistant to help manage the loading ramp into the building and parking lot. We’ve done many events at The Society Room with our up-lighting. Whether your wedding is during the day or at night, we have the right set of uplighting to give you that vivid color of your choice all the way from the floor to the ceiling, some 20′ up.
They normally setup the DJ in front of the main bar. Yes – it’s a bit awkward here and our DJ Table has to face across the room and not toward the dance floor (house rules), but that won’t stop us from having an amazing time at your wedding and keeping the dance floor packed.
If you are using the upstairs mezzanine level for either cocktail or for overflow tables and dinner guests, we will have one or two remote wireless speakers on that level so everyone can hear both music and toasts clearly. This is a big wedding venue and just two speakers on stands won’t do. We normally bring in a set of 4 speakers to adequately cover the space with sound.
Our wireless digital microphones will make sure that everyone can hear your toast and that there are no drop-outs while it is on. We are not your typical cheesy wedding DJs, so we won’t be talking between every song or telling corny jokes at your reception. .
